Brett Ratner brings the mighty Hercules back to the big screen with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson filling the title role. Ian McShane, John Hurt, Joseph Fiennes, and some other people are also in the movie.
Brett Ratner has made a whole bunch of bad movies. Hercules is no exception and not even The Rock, who I normally really like, could save this mess of a film. What you get is a laughable story, terrible acting, a plot that makes no sense, and special effects that wouldn't even make the cut in an episode of Game of Thrones. Don't see it in the theater and don't watch it when it comes out on home video. We'll all be better off if we just pretend this movie never existed.
