Latest Movie News:

‘Harry Potter’ actor Alan Rickman looks back on decade of dark magic with the Los Angeles Times' Geoff Boucher.

From the web pages of io9.com comes a look at the 70 Science Fiction and Fantasy Movies to Watch Out for in 2012. This is quite the impressive list and may be a sign that 2012 could be a banner year for the movie industry.

Moviefone.com gives readers a 'Hunger Games' crash course that includes everything you need to know about Katniss Everdeen and more regarding the latest book franchise to be brought to the silver screen.

AMC Independent is one reason why AMC Theaters is leading the way in bringing smaller, lesser-known titles to a wider audience. The films being featured by this national chain are some of the best you will see all year including 'Shame', 'The Descendants', and 'The Artist'.

Featured Trailers:
This week's trailers are a little bit different than the usual blockbuster debuts that I have been giving you. The first is a look at how the host of this year's Oscar telecast was found and the second is a mash-up of an all time classic Disney movie with what will most likely be the biggest movie of 2012.

  1. Wow...do you have enough here?? On that note...I've adored Alan Rickman since I first watched "Sense and Sensibility" in junior high.

  2. I even left a few things out! So much movie news, so little blog space.
Alan Rickman will always be Hans Gruber to me!
