New Prometheus Trailer Debuts!

With some major movies coming out this summer like The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Amazing Spider Man, there's bound to be a few that fall through the cracks. Prometheus is not getting the same amount of attention as those tent pole releases, but it may just turn out to be the best of them.

20th Century Fox has released a brand new full length "International Launch Trailer" on YouTube that will blow you away. I am really hoping this trailer plays in front of The Avengers this weekend along with the huge trailer debut that I recently posted about.

This trailer fleshes out the story a little bit more than the previous releases, but still manages to keep you wondering what exactly is going on. There are hints of corporate agendas similar to what played out in Aliens as there is some real tension seen among characters played by Charlize Theron and Noomi Rapaci.

The special effects look absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see what it all looks like in 3D on the big screen. Director Ridley Scott used 3D cameras to film Prometheus so everything should look really sharp with lots of depth and eye popping visuals.

Are you as excited as I am about this movie? Let me know what you think in the comments.

Prometheus will be released in theaters on June 8th by 20th Century Fox and stars Noomi Rapaci, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender, and Idris Elba. The movie was directed and produced by Ridley Scott who also directed the first Alien movie as well as other classics like Gladiator and Blade Runner.

    1. Yeah, it looks like a great role for Theron and it will be interesting to see Michael Fassbender play the part he is playing. The whole cast looks top notch.
