2013 Seattle International Film Festival - Preview
The 2013 Seattle International Film Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever with well over 400 films spread out over eleven different screening locations in and around the greater Seattle area. Mud - Movie Review
Mud seems to be intended as a vehicle for Matthew McConaughey to flex his acting muscle and further his career as a viable leading man candidate while director Jeff Nichols looks to add another building block to the foundation of his budding career. Sam Sheppard, Reese Witherspoon, and Tye Sheridan also star in a story about man hiding from his ghosts and the two boys who try to help him reclaim a lost love.
Oblivion - Movie Review
Long time action star Tom Cruise is back with Oblivion, a science fiction movie that pushes the boundaries of what is capable for filmmakers to put on a movie screen. Director Joseph Kosinski follows up his debut effort, Tron: Legacy while Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, and Olga Kurylenko round out the cast.

Thor: The Dark World Poster Release!
Have you seen the new poster for Thor: The Dark World? It features Chris Hemsworth posing as the God of Thunder with his trusty hammer in hand. Are you excited to see the movie when it comes out in November? Hopefully there is some truth to the rumor that the first trailer will be shown in front of Iron Man 3 next month.
The movie will be released on November 8th, 2013 by Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, and Tom Hiddleston and is being directed by Alan Taylor. 42 - Movie Review
If you don't know who Jackie Robinson is, then you really need to brush up on your American history as it pertains to civil rights. 42 stars Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford and is based on the real life story of the courageous and talented individual who broke Major League Baseball's long standing color barrier and the efforts of Brooklyn Dodgers owner Branch Rickey to give him the opportunity.

Star Trek Into Darkness Posters!
The marketing blitz for Star Trek into Darkness is kicking into high gear as the release date is now just a few weeks away. Several new posters have been released including character versions and one of the iconic starship Enterprise depicted in a way that hints at some seriously imminent danger for Captain Kirk and the rest of the famous crew.

Of course you know about the big heavy hitting blockbusters coming out this year like Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, Man of Steel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, but there are many more movies coming out that could sneak up on you as they are released.
