Fateful Findings is the brainchild of Neil Breen who wrote, produced, directed, acted in, catered, and did just about anything else you can think of to get this movie made. Taking the term "low budget feature" to a new extreme, this movie goes deep into the mind of an author who believes he is about to shock the world with his most recent discovery.
Breen plays the lead role of an author who has lead an unusual life after discovering as a child that he has mysterious and mystical powers. After a nearly fatal car crash reunites him with his childhood girlfriend, he takes on the task of hacking into government and corporate computer systems to reveal all of their darkest secrets.
What follows is a story that really doesn't make any kind of sense at all which sort of ends up being the point. This is a truly bad piece of filmmaking, but to the point where it ends up becoming a mockery of itself. You will have a lot more fun laughing at the movie than trying to enjoy it for what it actually tries to be.
Fateful Findings may end up being the definitive example of how not to make a movie. It comes complete with horrible acting, painful dialog, editing that confuses more than anything else, plot holes within plot holes, and special effects that should in no way be considered any kind of special. Fortunately for Mr. Breen, whether or not he meant for this to happen, his movie is about to gain cult status and is sure to become a staple of midnight screenings for a long time to come.
