The New York Asian Film Festival is the latest addition to my roster of film festivals that I provide coverage for and it has definitely been one of the most entertaining so far this year. Living on the other side of the country, I was not able to attend in person but that didn't stop me from checking out several of the movies that would be screening over the course of the seventeen day festival.

TwoOhSix Recap: 2018 Seattle International Film Festival
Twenty five festival days, forty one movies, four interviews, and countless kernels of popcorn. Covering my home town film festival is always a major highlight of my year. Being immersed in film, film fans, and film makers is an experience well worth the late nights, popcorn dinners, and utter exhaustion by the time it's all said and done. This recap includes four sections: capsule reviews, full reviews, interviews, and my top ten favorite films from this year's festival.
TwoOhSix Interviews - Director Pascal Plante at SIFF 2018
Talking to film makers is probably the most fun and rewarding part of covering film festivals because they are always so passionate about their projects and you just feel the love and creative energy pouring out of them during the interview. Pascal Plante, director of Fake Tattoos, is a prime example of that and he gave some brilliant insight into what it took to make this wonderful film.

TwoOhSix Interviews - Director Boots Riley at SIFF 2018
Boots Riley was about to be on the red carpet at the 2018 Seattle International Film Festival and I would only have a couple minutes to speak with him. With less than three minute to work with, what do you ask a Bay Area rap legend who is about to show his debut feature film to a packed house in downtown Seattle? Watch the video to find out!
