The Seattle Asian American Film Festival is back for another round of feature films, documentaries, short films, and special events all organized by a volunteer staff and presented across multiple venues including the Northwest Film Forum, the Broadway Performance Hall, Rhein Haus, and the Washington Hall event space. Below you will find a list of films that have been specially chosen as this year's TwoOhSix Picks. Links below the posters will take you to the film's SAAFF page where you can watch trailers, see photos, and read info!
In addition to all these fabulous films, you will absolutely want to check out both the Opening Night Party featuring performances by Japanese Breakfast, Bay Area rapper Ruby Ibarra, comedian Bri Pruett, multi media artist Jyun Jyun, and local DJ Spam I Am supplying the beats. I'm super excited to see Ruby Ibarra who first caught my attention on a Cypher Effect video and has since gone on to become one of the hottest hip hop artists around.
To cap things off, SAAFF is returning to Rein Haus for a Closing Night Party and Awards Ceremony you will not forget. The event is free to attend and you will be able to rub elbows with the film makers and volunteers who made the festival possible all while enjoying the fun atmosphere at one of Seattle's most popular hang outs.
