The Slamdance Film Festival always features a fresh and original slate of programming making it the perfect way to kick off the new year. After digging into the roster of available films, I was very excited to once again see a true independent spirit embedded throughout making it no easy task to compile my list of the 10 films that stood out from the pack as this year's "TwoOhSix Picks."

About Slamdance:
By filmmakers, for filmmakers. Established in 1995 by a wild bunch of filmmakers who were tired of relying on a large, oblique system to showcase their work, Slamdance has proven, year after year, that when it comes to recognizing talent and launching careers, independent and grassroots communities can do it themselves.
The 2020 Slamdance Film Festival takes place in Park City, Utah from January 24th - 30st and is presented by sponsors Blackmagic Design and Directors Guild of America.
Tickets are available now on the Slamdance website or at local theater box offices. Stay tuned to TwoOhSix.com for festival coverage including movie reviews and recaps.
