The Review:
Last year, this movie was delayed because of concerns over gun violence or something like that. Now that it has been released, I honestly don't really see what the fuss was all about, I mean yeah it 's violent and at times gratuitously so yet nothing that was overly alarming. I guess if you're not used to this type of movie, it might be a bit much but for me, it was actually a bit tame given all the hype.
So, we know there's lots of guns and lots of messy, bloody violence but is the story any good? Not really and does anyone really expect it to be? There really isn't much to the story to be honest and it's about as predictable of a movie as you will find. The writers also insert a lot of political, I guess we'll call it satire although none of it really works very well other than to define characters as the shallow ass holes we already know them to be.
Is the movie worth watching? If you're into this type of movie then yes, it's a blood splattering good time that you really don't have to think about at all just don't get your hopes up for any type of coherent story.
