Hello, friends and welcome to the very first episode of the now officially launched TwoOhSix.com Podcast! To kick things off, I have put together a special interview series about diversity in film and it has been such a pleasure to speak with all of the people who have donated their time to this project. Let's get to it!
Lynn Chen on the set of I Will Make You Mine |
Lynn Chen is a film maker in just about every sense of the word. She is an actor, a writer, a producer, and a director and on top of all that she is a blogger, an activist, and a musician. If there's anything Lynn can't do, it's probably just a matter of time before she conquers that as well.
My conversation with Lynn ran through her early career, how she got into acting, how community has had a positive impact on Asian Americans in Hollywood, what diversity in film means to her, and then on to her most recent project called I Will Make You Mine. A movie that she created from the ground up, was an official selection of the SXSW film festival before it got shut down, and is currently receiving acclaim as the opening night film at the 2020 CAAMFest.
Here it is. Episode One of the Diversity in Film Podcast Series. Enjoy!
Thank you for listening! I hope you enjoyed the conversation as much as I did. To learn more about Lynn Chen and her movie please visit LynnChen.com and IWillMakeYouMine.com. Coming up next on Episode Two of the Diversity in Film Podcast Series is Lynn's friend and film making partner, producer and director Emily Ting!
