It is time for the 2020 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival virtual edition and my first year covering what looks like a super fun event. The festival programmers have put together an amazing list of virtual experiences including feature films, short film programs, and several themed interactive online events and gatherings. My coverage will focus on feature films so take a look at the ones I have selected as the ones you do not want to miss.

Since this is a Los Angeles based film festival, most features and shorts are geo locked to the Southern California area meaning only people who live there will have access to them. This is meant to preserve some of the exclusivity of the film festival experience. Go to the links for these films for more info and to see where they are available.

I also had an opportunity to interview director Bao Tran for my podcast interview series New Directions in Film which you can listen to below.
