TwoOhSix Picks - 2020 Hawaii International Film Festival

Welcome to TwoOhSix.com's coverage of the 2020 Hawaii International Film Festival. Each year in preparation for the event, HIFF programmers view some 1,000 films and choose an average of 150 features, documentaries and film shorts. From those final selections, I have selected the twenty films that you do not want to miss, Here are the 2020 HIFF TwoOhSix Picks.

Steven Yuen in Minari directed by Lee Isaac Chung

This is the 6th year as press covering the HIFF festivities from afar and of course, in a year where a pandemic has kept people home to stay safe, this was supposed to be my first time attending in person. Of course not even a pandemic could keep me from remotely covering the 40th edition of this festival which is packed with amazing movies of all shapes and sizes. That being said, this is still one of my favorite festivals and is the perfect way to end a year of film festival coverage from around the world.
