Director Larissa Lam and Producer Baldwin Chiu join the Changing Directions
podcast series to talk about their documentary, Far East Deep South.
The documentary is heart wrenching because of the generations of history the
Chiu family has lost and it is also filled with hope because of how much of
that history has been recovered for future generations to learn from and
appreciate.
Larissa Lam and Baldwin Chiu, creators of Far East Deep South, are a formidable force in the entertainment industry and now the multi talented performers and producers have turned their sites on documentary filmmaking in an effort to educate and entertain. Well spoken and full of energy, the dynamic duo were ready to share and ready to show how much they care about their history, their culture, and being Asian in America. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.
Changing Directions is a podcast interview series focused on diverse
