The Fantasia International Film Festival is back! This is seriously one of my favorite film festivals of the year and once again, it is jam packed with a lineup of genre films with both virtual and in person screenings from August 5th through August 25th. I had a hard time narrowing down this incredible list of films so I went with 25 "TwoOhSix Picks" this year.

A couple other things to not about this year's festival is the August 4th special event screening of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and the festival will go out with a bang on August 25th with the closing film, Takashi Miike’s hotly-anticipated The Great Yokai War - Guardians. I'll be posting reviews throughout the festival and I may also be doing a few interviews for my podcast so stay tuned. To keep track of all my reviews and festival coverage please go to: TwoOhSix at Fantasia 2021.
About the Fantasia International Film Festival:
Located in the heart of beautiful Montreal, Fantasia is a cultural and professional destination point, and since its first edition, the festival’s ever-growing popularity has attracted the attention of the international film industry alongside a legion of attendees from across the world. Every facet of the filmmaking chain is increasingly represented with in-person delegates at the festival: directors, actors, producers, studio representatives, distributors and festival programmers, who get to experience the legendarily enthusiastic, taste-making audience of Fantasia.
