The Review:
There's a fictional admiral who once famously exclaimed "It's a Trap!" and I think maybe he had somehow foreseen this movie coming even from a galaxy far, far away. M. Night Shyamalan has made some really fantastic cinema experiences so we should always give him the opportunity to succeed, it's just hard to have any faith in him when he also puts out a movie like this. I mean seriously. Nothing about this movie is any good at all and none of it makes sense.

The story is bad, the acting is bad, the dialog is bad, and pretty much every other aspect of this movie is just bad. I tried to think of something positive I could pull out of watching this movie and all I can think of is that at least it's less than two hours long. Still, even at one hour and 45 minutes, that was about 90 minutes too long. Trap is one of those movies that will fail miserably at the box office and then it will eventually show up on Netflix or some other streaming service and it will suddenly be a surprise hit for a week or two just because people are curious to see if it was really that bad. I can tell you right now, don't waste your time. It really is that bad.
