Dope - Movie Review

Dope is a coming of age film both written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa who's previous efforts include The Wood, and Brown Sugar. The features a very talented cast which includes Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Rakim (A$ap Rocky) Mayers, Blake Anderson, Quincy Brown, Kimberly Elise, Rick Fox, Chanel Iman, Zoë Kravitz, Roger Guenveur Smith, Tyga, and Forest Whitaker.

Neighbors - Movie Review

Neighbors is a movie that puts a family to the test against a fraternity in an all out battle to see who will rule the neighborhood. Seth Rogen and Zac Efron match wits in this comedic adventure directed by Nicholas Stoller. Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jerrod Carmichael, and Ike Barinholtz are also featured in the movie.

Epic (SIFF 2013) - Movie Review

Now that the eco-trilogy of Ferngully, Avatar, and Epic is complete...oh wait...its not a trilogy? Oh. Well, never mind all that. Either way, Epic does fit in nicely as a kid friendly tale that contains a not so subtle message about protecting forests and having respect for nature. Twentieth Century Fox Animation continues its long time collaboration with director Chris Wedge (Ice Age, Robots) and assembles an all star cast including Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, and Christoph Waltz.
