Red 2 - Movie Review

After Red, a DC Comics adaptation, became a surprise hit back in 2010, there was no doubt we would eventually be seeing more from our new favorite aging agents. Sure enough, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, and Helen Mirren all are back for Red 2 along with Anthony Hopkins, Byung-hun Lee, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation - Movie Review

After a less than successful debut, the Real American Heroes return to the big screen reloading with a bigger cast, more explosive special effects, and a story that sees the evil forces of Cobra looking to take over the world yet again. A Good Day to Die Hard - Movie Review

Fans of the Die Hard franchise will be very happy to see Bruce Willis back for another turn as John McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard. Looper - Movie Review

Whenever a movie involves time travel, I am always a little skeptical about how the story is going to play out. I mean, whatever happens, they could always just go back in time again and fix it, right? In the case of "Looper", writer/director Rian Johnson has found a decent way to solve the problem (for the most part) by taking the ability to time travel away from the main characters and have it be something that is done to them. I know that doesn't make sense, but it will when you see it.

In more good news: this movie has Emily Blunt in it.

The Expendables 2 - Movie Review

The sequel to 2010's "The Expendables" has no shortage of gunfire, explosions, stabbings, kicks to the face, and witty banter and with a roster full of action stars unlike anything you've ever seen before, audiences will have a hard time walking away disappointed.

Moonrise Kingdom - Movie Review

I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that this is the first Wes Anderson movie that I have watched in its entirety. The one other movie of his that I have watched is "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" which I enjoyed so much that I fell asleep three times and had no interest in going back to watch the parts I missed. Wes Anderson fans, you can stop looking shocked and insulted as here is my review of "Moonrise Kingdom".
