A Million Ways to Die in the West - Miniview
In an effort to get more reviews posted in a timely manner, I have created the "MiniView" which is a less comprehensive yet still informative version of my normal movie reviews.
A Million Ways to Die in the West is a major motion picture with a really long title. Seth MacFarlane stars in the movie which he also wrote and directed. You also get to see Charlize Theron, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman, Giovanni Ribisi, Liam Neeson, and Amanda Seyfried doing and saying really funny things.

Gangster Squad - Movie Review
One thing that has been missing from theaters lately is a really good gangster movie. Director Ruben Fleischer, who also directed the super awesome Zombieland, takes a shot at the genre by adapting Gangster Squad from a novel written by Will Beall and Paul Lieberman. With the combination of Penn, Gosling, and Brolin headlining the cast, there is no doubt audiences will be looking to see if this is a movie they can't refuse.

Contraband - Movie Review
Mark Wahlberg's latest action vehicle has him playing Chris Farraday, a former smuggler who is drawn back in to the business to protect his brother in law from a crime lord that wants to be repaid for a deal gone bad. With his family in jeopardy and friendships on the line, Farraday takes off for Panama to retrieve millions of dollars worth of counterfeit bills in a score that will hopefully pay off for everyone involved.

The Rum Diary - Movie Review
A movie starring Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Giovanni Ribisi, and Aaron Eckhart, written for the screen and directed by Bruce Robinson, and with a story originally written by Hunter S. Thompson should be a recipe for the type of film that would have critics falling all over themselves trying to come up with appropriate levels of praise and worship. As I sat down to watch this film I began to wonder if I would become intoxicated by the potent combination of ingredients, or would I look to add this to the multitude of mediocrity that floods the proverbial bottom shelf.
