X-Men: Days of Future Past - Movie Review


Bryan Singer returns to the franchise that first put comic book movies on the map and the pressure is on to bring two generations of mutants out of the past and into the future. X-Men: Days of Future Past features an all star cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, and Lucas Till.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - Movie Review


Peter Jackson and company return with part 2 of The Hobbit trilogy and The Desolation of Smaug promises to be their biggest and boldest achievement so far. There's so many actors and actresses in this movie it would take the same amount of time to read the list as it would be to watch the movie itself...which is 161 minutes long! That extensive list does feature Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, and Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of the dragon known as Smaug.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Movie Review



So, there's this little movie that you may have heard of called The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It is set to arrive in theaters with modest expectations built off of director Peter Jackson's previous works, all of which involve adaptations of some author named Tolkien. Whatever your expectations are of this movie, I would honestly encourage you to check them at the theater door and just be prepared to let Mr. Jackson and company take you along on their little adventure.
