2015 was a big year for TwoOhSix.com as I was able to provide coverage for a total of six different film festivals as well as two conventions before it was all said and done. As we gear up for what lies ahead in 2016, let's take a look back at all of those awesome memories including my "Festival Favorite" movie from each of last year's film festivals.

The 2015 Portland Film Festival has come and gone and, from everything I've seen, heard, and read, it was yet another smashing success! I am very happy to have had the opportunity to see a few of the films that were presented during the festival and have collected my reviews here for easy access.

Deep Dark, written and directed by Michael Medaglia, is an official selection of the 2015 Portland Film Festival. The movie stars Sean McGrath, Monica Graves, Anne Sorce, and Denise Poirier as "The Hole".

Dude Bro Party Massacre III (PDXFF 2015) - Movie Review

Dude Bro Party Massacre III, written and directed by the creative team and comedy troupe known as "5 Second Films", is an official selection of the 2015 Portland Film Festival. The movie stars Alec Owen, Patton Oswalt, Paul Prado, Brian Firenzi, Kelsey Gunn, Joey Scoma, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Jimmy Wong, Michael Rousselet, Maria Del Carmen, and Nina Hartley.

For Love & Broken Bones (PDXFF15) - Movie Review

For Love & Broken Bones, directed and co-written by Tebogo Malope, is an official selection of the 2015 Portland Film Festival. This South African drama stars Mduduzi Mabaso, Lerato Mvelase, Desmond Dube, and introduces Mashala Letsoalo as Thabo.

Angkor's Children (PDXFF 2015) - Documentary Review

Angkor's Children is a documentary filmed in Cambodia by director Lauren Shaw and is an official selection of both the 2015 Portland Film Festival and the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival. The film focuses on young women who are using art to help affect change in a country filled with oppression thanks to the Khmer Rouge regime.

Birds of Neptune (PDXFF 2015) - Movie Review

Birds of Neptune is an indie drama written, produced, and directed by Portland native Steven Richter and is the featured film of opening night for the Portland Film Festival. The movie stars Britt Harris, Molly Elizabeth Parker, Kurt Conroyd, Lauren Luiz, and Christian Blair.

As our never ending quest for world domination continues, it is time to add another film festival to the roster of TwoOhSix.com approved events. The Portland Film Festival is the biggest and most outgoing summer movie event in the Northwest and, this year, there are over 250 hours of indie films, comedies, documentaries, shorts, music videos, and more. After perusing the schedule, I have hand picked a selection of films you are not going to want to miss.
