The Chef aka Comme un Chef (SIFF 2012) - Movie Review
Daniel Cohen's The Chef is a lighthearted romp through the world of French cuisine and stars Michaël Youn alongside the one and only Jean Reno. The accomplished director has cooked up a dish of a movie that has had audiences asking for seconds by serving them equally healthy portions of belly laugh inducing comedy and heart warming drama.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters - Movie Review
Yes, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is based on the fairy tale we all knew and loved as kids, but it takes the famous brother and sister and shows what happened in the years after their fateful encounter with this evil witch and her house made of candy. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton take on the title roles and director Tommy Wirkola quickly establishes that this will not be a by the book children's story.

Bullet to the Head - Movie Review
The tag line in the poster for Bullet to the Head is "Revenge Never Gets Old", but it doesn't say anything about the actors themselves. Sylvester Stallone is definitely getting up there in age and, even with his musclebound physique firmly in place, you really get the idea that at least one dead horse took a beat down to get this movie made.
(FYI: No animals were harmed during the making of this review)
Mama - Movie Review
If you are a fan of Guillermo Del Toro, you will enjoy Mama, but not necessarily because he had anything to do with making the movie. Sure, his name is on the poster, but he did not direct, produce, or have any other creative input although it definitely has the look and feel of something he might have put together. That being said, director and co-writer Andrés Muschietti has created a movie that is truly creepy if not downright scary and Jessica Chastain shows she can handle things that go bump in the night just as easily as she can take down terrorists.

Parker - Movie Review
Parker is the latest in a long line of Jason Statham movies where a problem is presented and he somehow manages to punch, kick, and shoot his way to the end credits. With the added star power of Jennifer Lopez heating up the screen, this is sure to be successful enough to keep the gravy train going for one of the current eras best action stars.
